Bring the Wild to work, don a skin that suits!!!

Animal print is a clothing and fashion style in which the garment is made to resemble the pattern of the skin and fur of an animal such as a Leopard, Cheetah, Zebra, Tiger, Spotted Hyena, Striped Hyena, African Wild Dog, Giraffe or Snakes.

Animal prints can be worn as a single piece or combined with another piece of clothing to either give it a glam feel or to tune down the fierceness. This edition will however be focusing on how animal prints can be worn as a single piece.

Animal prints, as classified above, are from different animals. It is however commonplace to find that a particular type of animal print is confused for the other. Leopard prints take first place in this regard; people are always quick to call every type of animal print “Leopard skin”. This is not unassociated with the fact that leopard skin is the most popular form of animal print. 

 

Now, let’s take a trip to the wild; to see various animal prints and how they can "WOW" at the workplace when worn as a single piece:

The Leopard Skin: 

 

  

The background color of the Leopard is tan and this can vary from very pale to quite dark. The head, neck and legs are covered in black spots, with more intricate markings, called "rosettes". Each rosette is made up of three or four black spots on the outside with a yellow-brown center. No two leopards have the same markings or color. In fact each leopard's spots are unique, similar to human fingerprints.

The Cheetah Skin: 

Cheetahs have solid black round/oval spots. Cheetahs and leopards are so easily confused. The difference between the two is the Rosettes clustered round the Leopard skin. Cheetahs have a closed black bean shape while the Leopard has a different color in the middle of the black outline.
