The Feminine dash of a Peter Pan collar!!!

Get that Mary Jane (Geeky school girl) yet snazzy look at work, try clothes with this collar. It is a retro-mix style which has been taking over the fashion scene. This collar can be found in different fabrics, such as cotton, leather, fur amongst others. Some are even embellished with glitters, sparkles and studs.

A Peter Pan collar is a popular term for a style of clothing collar. The first official Peter Pan was designed by John White Alexander. It is named after the collar of Maude Adams's costume in her 1905 role as Peter Pan.

A peter pan collar is usually flat with rounded edges on the tips of the collar. The edges of the rounds may meet or overlap, or there may even be a gap between them. They can be high, low and vary in width as seen in the pictures. The collar evokes a sense of modesty, often the found on blouses, shirts, cardigans, dresses, jackets and coats. They are evergreen, hence they never go out of fashion.

There are detachable Peter Pan collars which can be added to outfits to accentuate the elegance and style.

Revitalize those plain sleeveless gowns/pinafores by wearing a Peter-pan blouse in them, this adds colour and gives the gowns a completely different look.
